Look, we didn't start out thinking we'd become Vancouver's go-to forensic accounting firm. But after seeing too many businesses get burned by fraud and compliance nightmares, someone had to step up.
Started with just three of us in a cramped office downtown. We had more coffee mugs than clients at first, but word spread fast when we helped a local manufacturer uncover a $2M embezzlement scheme.
Expanded to 12 people and moved to Creekside. Added corporate tax services because, honestly, our fraud investigation clients kept asking for help with their regular accounting mess too.
Brought on our first CFE specialists and started teaching fraud prevention workshops. Turns out preventing financial disasters is way more satisfying than just cleaning up the aftermath.
Yeah, that year. Went fully remote overnight and actually thrived. Turns out financial fraud doesn't take pandemics off. Added risk assessment services as everyone scrambled to figure out their new normal.
Team of 28 now, handling everything from small business audits to complex M&A advisory. Still in the same Creekside office, just with way better coffee and a reputation we're pretty proud of.
